When it comes to coffee, it doesn’t come much better than a Colombian. If you’re looking for a well-balanced cup of vibrancy and juiciness, then this is definitely a brew for you.
Grown at high altitude, on steep slopes by a variety of smallholder coffee farmers in the municipality of Suárez. Once ripe, the coffee cherries are then picked using the help of family and friends in the neighbourhood, and then dried on the same steep-slpoed farm before being sent to the local milling station for processing, grading and cupping.
As a department, Cauca is widely-renowned in the coffee industry for its ability to produce great-quality coffee. This is down to having the ideal conditions for arabica to thrive; high elevation, quality soil and a decent rainfall.
