How do I place an order?
Ordering is super-easy, simply browse the selection of coffees and products on our website, add what you fancy to your cart, and once you’re ready, simply proceed to checkout where you’ll select your preferred delivery or collection option and complete your payment.
What are my options for receiving my coffee?
We offer two convenient ways to get your coffee: we can deliver directly to your address, or you can collect your order from us in person. You’ll choose your preferred option during checkout.
For collection, we are based in Stowmarket, Suffolk.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery times will vary depending on your location, but we typically aim to get your coffee to you within 3-5 business days of placing your order. You’ll receive confirmation once your order is on its way.
Is there a minimum order amount?
No, there is a delivery charge for lower cost orders. For collection there is no charge.
For orders over £50 we will cover the postage costs. We make no money on postage, but we do value your choice to shop with us, so cover this cost as a kind gesture of your support.
How do you package the coffee?
The coffee itself is packaged in recyclable, resealable bags, of which each a one-way air valve. This is to help prevent the bag swelling where the coffee releases excess oxygen after roasting, without letting air in that can deteriorate the coffee.
Depending on what you’ve ordered, the coffee will then be packaged in a box or sealed postal bag for shipping.
What if I’m not home when my delivery arrives?
We use mainstream third-party couriers for our order deliveries, they will always attempt to get your delivery to you. Often they will leave it in a safe place if they deem it responsible, but in some cases this is not always possible, so you may experience an ‘attempted delivery’ process that will need you to communicate with the courier directly.
If you know you are not going to be in at the point of order, please leave a note on your order giving us any necessary delivery instructions that we can pass on to the courier. As most courier services are automated these days, delivery notes aren’t always picked up by the couriers, but we will try our best to get these specifics to the courier as best we can.
What if there’s a problem with my order?
If you experience any issues with your order along the way, please get in touch! In fact if the item reaches you in a less than satisfactory standard, please do let us know. It’s rare that we will get notified by the courier if the condition of a shipment is damaged in transit as they are liable for damages, so this our our only way to get feedback of this.
Customer satisfaction is of the highest importance to us, so if there’s any issue with your order, anything at all, please get in touch and we’ll work to make it right.
Where is your coffee roasted?
We roast all of the coffee ourselves at our small-batch roastery in Stowmarket, Suffolk. Each of the different coffees we offer is specially-selected, profile and sample roasted in house until we’ve got it just right for release. We then roasted 1-2 times a week in small batches to ensure the coffee is always in stock and fresh, so that when it reaches you, it’s the perfect age for consumption.
Where do you source your coffee beans?
We work with a number of green speciality coffee merchants to source our coffee. We are also blessed to be based just a few miles to one of the largest coffee distribution hubs in the UK, using our network of contacts in the industry, we have access to hundreds of different coffees from all over the world, right at our finger tips. This allows us full transparency and ensures each coffee is fully traceable back to the farm where it was grown, and allows us to continue building strong relationships with coffee farmers and merchants across the world.
What types of coffee do you offer?
We pride ourselves on quality, so the main focus is on specialty-grade Arabica coffee, but from time to time we might drop in a cult coffee classic, or obscure origin which might end up being a slightly lesser grade coffee than speciality, but still roasted with the same love. For us it’s all about celebrating and exploring coffee in every way we can.
Aside from quality, we offer coffee that is single-origin (one country), blends – a combination of two or more origins, decaf coffee and even half-caf coffee. Our aim is to offer coffee for all, to be enjoyed any which way you chose – just not instant. Life is too short for instant coffee.
How fresh is your coffee?
We roast at least once a week to ensure we’ve always got a fresh batch ready to go when a customer orders. Coffee needs to rest after roasting, so it will always be a couple of days old from ordering, but the aim is for the coffee to be between 2 and 4 weeks old when it reaches your doorstep, this where in our experience coffee is at it’s best for brewing and enjoying.
Orders & Delivery
Do you offer free delivery?
Yes! We offer free delivery on all orders over £50. For orders under this amount, a standard delivery charge applies.
What is your satisfaction guarantee?
Quality is key for us. We stand behind every bag of coffee we roast. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, please get in touch with us and we’ll make it right.
What payment methods do you accept?
