If you’ve ever had one of our delicious hot chocolate drinks from our mobile barista van, you’ll know how good these taste!
A divine white chocolate, made using Trinitario ‘Fino de Aroma’ beans from Colombia. Distinguished by its natural colour and creamy flavour notes, with marked dairy notes of milk and cream. What really makes this chocolate stand out is its floral, caramel cocoa undertone.
Comes as a 240g bag, enough for six mugs (when made as per recipe below).
Info:
Origin: Colombia
Varietal: Trinitario
Cocoa Content: 36%
Manufactured: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, UK
Recipe:
Dissolve 40g (8 tsp) of real chocolate flakes into 300ml (10 fl oz) hot milk.
If you’ve got a home coffee machine with a milk steamer, simply add it all to your jug and steam. Similarly these work great on a velvetiser too!
If you’ve not got either of these, the old school method is just a nice, heating milk in a pan (or microwave) and stir in the flakes until melted. The key is to get the milk hot enough to melted the chocolate, but not too hot so it starts to burn. Life’s too short for burnt milk!
Ingredients:
Sugar, cocoa butter, milk powder, emulsifier: soya lecithin, vanilla extract.
Cocoa solids: 36% minimum.
Milk solids: 18% minimum.
