We’re excited to talk about this! This is the first coffee that we’re able to proudly able to source direct-trade, straight from the farm. We’ve teamed up with the guys over at Alema Coffee in Bury St Edmunds to bring you this incredible coffee, small-batch roasted to perfection by Good VIbes Coffee.

Experience the rich and vibrant flavors that Ecuadorian speciality coffee has to offer with Alema Loja. Sourced directly from the ‘Alema Finca’ family-run farm, which is nestled in the lush, sun-drenched high-altitude regions of the Andean mountains of Southern Ecuador.

With over 80 years of experience and ongoing cultivation, the family at Alema Finca are masters of their craft when it comes to hand-picking every single cherry at peak ripeness and carefully processed using traditional methods to give the coffees a unique natural sweetness and aroma.

Whilst this coffee is suitable for all brewing methods, we’d recommend trying it as a brewed method such as v60, Aeropress or french-press, sans milk for full enjoyment – or neat as an espresso if you’re hardcore.

Brew Ratios:

Espresso: 16g in, 30g coffee out in 30 seconds.
Filter / v60: 16g coffee, 280ml water, 4 mins brew time.
French Press (cafetiere) 18g coffee, 300ml water, 4 mins brew time.
Aeropress (Inverted method): 16g coffee, 1 min 100ml bloom, 150ml, plunge slowly @ 3 mins for 30 seconds.
